Switch Dartmouth is Sunday, June 2 from noon to 4 p.m.

CALL FOR COMMUNITY ACTIVATORS AT SWITCH: If you are a community group or organization interested in setting up along the route, we’d like to hear from you. We are currently accepting applications. All you have to do is email info@downtowndartmouth.ca and let us know who you are and how you’d like to engage with the crowd at Switch 2019. We’ll get back to you right away.

NEW TO SWITCH? Switch is Downtown Dartmouth’s biggest street party of the year. It’s the day when more than 2 km of streets get closed to traffic and switched open for people! Switch is a celebration of active transportation, sustainable living and community. It’s also the kickoff to this year’s Halifax Bike Week!

Thousands of people of all ages will take over Portland Street and Prince Albert Road from Alderney Landing to Sullivan’s Pond Park. We’re programming music stages on the route, plus roving entertainers, live demos, bouncy castles and lots more surprises.

Stay tuned for details.

@switchhfx is organized by the Planning and Design Centre and Downtown Dartmouth Business Commission
